The beginning of July marks the start of disability pride month and one Cumbrian cricket club is doing all they can to make the sport accessible for all.

Penrith Cricket Club have confirmed that they will host three free events next month, specifically aimed at those with ADHD, Autism or physical disabilities.

Sessions will run on July 14, August 1st and August 20 from 2pm until 3.30pm at Tynefield Park, Penrith.

Last year, former Penrith MP Dr Neil Hudson visited the club amid a call for more accessibility in grassroots cricket.

Participants must be over the age of five, but otherwise everyone is welcome to join in.

Anyone interested can book a free spot by emailing David Annette at davidannette@outlook.com.
